Robertson Education Empowerment Foundation (R.E.E.F.'') is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting new and innovative programs of investment in education. The foundation is a resource for higher education students that desire alternative financing to financial aid and loans to pay for educational expenses. Founded by Michael Robertson, R.E.E.F. began its ''Education Investment'' program in the Fall 2002 at the University of California, San Diego campus with an initial investment of $3 million.
